Price must be paid for chemical weapons use

As a Vietnam veteran, I have seen the results of war up close and personal. The impact of war is indescribable to those who have not seen it. As a result I absolutely abhor the concept of war, and anyone who doesn’t really needs some help.

However, when it comes to the use of chemical weapons on civilian populations, you are beyond war; you have crossed the line into barbarism. The world’s nations have long since made their decision on chemical warfare. The use of such weapons on your own population simply cannot be ignored and a price must be paid.

While I would not be in favor of a ground invasion, missile strikes would seem to be appropriate in light of the facts as they have been presented so far. I would have a far different opinion if Donald Rumsfeld, Dick Cheney, Paul Wolfowitz and company were the providers of the information. I would hope that all would consider the source of the information before forming their opinions.
