Stop the killings in America first

hello

Why can and will our federal government get involved when there's senseless murders of innocent people in other countries (for example, Syria) but it can't or won't when senseless murders continuously are happening in American cities (like Chicago) and the local police obviously cannot get it under control? Is the pain and suffering of American families not important? Or, haven't enough innocent people here been killed?

America is not perfect and not wealthy anymore, so why do we keep getting involved in and financing countries that don't even like us unless they need our help?
