Mundelein High college night:

Mundelein High School’s guidance department hosts a College Planning Night for Seniors on Thursday, Sept. 12, from 7 to 9 p.m. in the school auditorium, 1350 W. Hawley St., Mundelein. It will be hosted by Janet Pullano, college/career resource liaison. Counselor Aracely Lawrence will host the program in the Mundelein Room for Spanish-speaking parents. Some of the subjects to be covered include: the college admissions process; the importance of meeting college deadlines; college visits; tips on essay writing; introduction of Family Connections by Naviance, a college and career readiness program that partners with high schools to provide students with college planning and career assessment tools. Parents and students are welcome to attend.
