Can’t trust IRS to take on new role

Once again the IRS is using intimidation. The agency is currently in the process of mailing 20,000 letters to small-business owners asking for more information.

The unprecedented initiative is an attempt to flush out underreporting of business income. What we have here is another big government compliance program to increase taxes.

The Gestapo tactics the IRS has been demonstrating increases the small businessman’s fear factor of big government. The current administration struggles with efforts to grow the economy and grow jobs. Don’t they realize that small businesses are the heart of the economy’s growth and jobs?

This is another example of why funding for this agency needs to be trimmed. How can we possibly trust the IRS to take on an additional compliance role with health care administration?
