Advocates needed to help Autism Speaks

To all parents with a child, teenager or an adult with autism, Autism Speaks is looking for people who are interested in connecting with state and federal legislators about issues involving developmental disabilities, who want to be more involved with autism in their community, and who want to help out in your congressional district with current district advocacy chair people.

Examples of some important issues that families with autism face:

1. State and Federal Health care Coverage for autism.

2. Housing

3. PUNS List Enrollment

4. Vocational Training

5. Various Federal Initiatives involving Autism

Please email me with your interest at mbaker721@comcast.net to talk further. It’s a volunteer position that involves putting in as much time as you want to improve the lives of people with autism!
