Wolves' 20th home opener set for Oct. 12

The Chicago Wolves will celebrate their 20th home opener on Oct. 12 at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont.

The team also announced six additional guaranteed home games for the 2013-14 season: Nov. 16, Nov. 23, Wednesday, Dec. 18, Dec. 21, Jan. 4 and Jan. 18. The entire 76-game schedule, along with opponents and times, will be released later this month.

"We're embarking on the 20th season of Chicago Wolves hockey, and it promises to be a special one," said Wolves president of Business Operations Mike Gordon. "With all of our offseason changes, including the return of four-time champion John Anderson as our head coach, we expect to have a memorable season at Allstate Arena."
