Sprint store in Rolling Meadows reportedly robbed

According to employees of a neighboring business, there was a robbery at the Sprint store at Algonquin and Golf roads in Rolling Meadows Thursday.
The employees did not have any further details.
Rolling Meadows police on the scene, which was surrounded by yellow tape, were seen talking to store employees around 8 p.m. When asked about the incident, they refused to comment, referring the matter to the deputy chief.
Rolling Meadows police were contacted later Thursday evening, but a dispatcher said there would be no one available to talk about the incident until Friday morning.
