Lombard seeks volunteers to serve on commissions

Lombard officials are looking for interested residents to fill vacancies on committees and commissions of the village board, officials said Tuesday.

There are immediate openings on several panels, including two spots on the economic and community development committee, one on the finance committee, one on the liquor commission and two on the historical commission.

Residents interested in serving on those or other committees are asked to submit an application, which can be found on the village website at www.villageoflombard.org. To find the page, hover your cursor over "About" and click "Boards, Committees and Commissions."

To apply for an open position, residents can either fill out the online application or print a PDF of the application and drop it off at village hall or mail it to Village Hall, Attn: Carol Bauer, 255 E. Wilson Ave., Lombard, IL 60148.
