Jane Fonda still no friend to veterans

I am a Vietnam veteran. “The Newsroom” series may be a good show, but I and many Vietnam veterans like me will never watch the series, the reason being that Jane Fonda stars in it. Since my tours in Vietnam in 1969 and ’70, I have not watched anything with Jane Fonda in it. Any movie with her in it was banned on base.

She was part of the reason people spit on us when we came home. This woman is a disgrace to the United States. She should have been charged with treason. She should have been put in prison. I have been in VFW posts where her picture is still inside the urinals. It is a shame, but by having her in the series means a lot of ex-military personnel and their families and current military personnel will not watch the series.
