Concealed-carry law makes us safer

A big “Thank you!” to our Illinois Legislature and the courts that we now have a concealed carry law in Illinois.

I’ve always felt safer in theaters, shopping malls and other public places when I visit my adult children in Texas and Missouri, where I know there are law-abiding citizens who carry guns. Soon I’ll be able to enjoy the same feeling of safety and security here in my home state.

Criminals in Illinois can never again be confident that the person they want to mug, carjack or rape doesn’t have their own gun.
