Bartlett seeks neighborhoods to host National Night Out

The Bartlett Police Department is looking for neighborhoods that are interested in hosting National Night Out Block Parties or participating in a neighborhood lighting competition on Saturday, Aug. 3.

The police department and Bartlett Fire Protection District will visit all of the participating neighborhoods to determine which ones will win awards in five categories, including participation, theme, spirit, best-lighted and best overall. The awards will be presented at the village’s National Night Out “Picnic in the Park” event, which begins at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 6, in Bartlett Park. The last day a neighborhood can register for the competition is Friday, July 26.
