We could do worse than Quinn

We could do worse than Quinn

Nobody can say anything bad about the Blackhawks. The downtown celebration was great. I was not there but watching on television. In part, I wanted to hear what Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel might say. Not close. Mayor Daley did much better three years ago.

But then there was Gov. Pat Quinn. Why was he booed? He said all the right stuff. So he raised the state income tax (the state still has no money). He supports immigration reform and gay marriage. Many of us do. I say Quinn is doing a good job. We could do much worse. Who remembers Otto Kerner, Dan Walker, George Ryan and Rod Blagojevich?
