A 63-year-old man was shot inside a house on the 100 block of Crighton Lane on Friday night. He was taken to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge and is expected to survive.

Investigators are going over video from cameras at nearby homes in search of clues, police said.

The victim was shot by one of two men waiting in the home, police said. The victim's girlfriend lives there, police said.

The shooter was described as a white man with gray hair. He was about 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighed about 200 pounds and may have been between 50 and 55 years old, police said.

The other suspect was described as being a white man who stood about 5 feet 10 inches tall and was thin.
