A 19-year-old Hanover Park man faces aggravated kidnapping and aggravated criminal sexual assault charges after authorities say he held his ex-girlfriend against her will.
Joshua Little, of the 1100 block of Brentwood Court, appeared Wednesday at a bond hearing at the Cook County courthouse in Rolling Meadows. A judge set his bail at $50,000. He must post 10 percent to be released on bond.
His arrest came after Hoffman Estates police responded at 9:55 p.m. Sunday to a report of a missing person on the 500 block of Hillcrest Court, Sgt. Darin Felgenhauer said.
An investigation into the 19-year-old victim's whereabouts led officers to locate her with Little at 3 p.m. Monday in a parking garage near the Kennedy Expressway and Cumberland Avenue in Chicago, Felgenhauer said.
Police declined to provide further details of the allegations.
Both aggravated kidnapping and aggravated criminal sexual assault are Class X felonies that carry a sentence of six to 30 years in prison.
