Schaumburg man a no-show for stalking trial
Authorities are searching for a Schaumburg man who didn’t show up to court Tuesday for the start of his trial on stalking charges.
Raymond Nathan, whose last known address is on the 1600 block of Hartmann Drive, is considered armed and dangerous, according to a crime bulletin circulated by the Hanover Park police.
Hanover Park Deputy Chief Tom Cortese said Nathan was taken into custody in September 2011 and charged with stalking an ex-girlfriend. He later was released on electronic monitoring.
Judge Joel Greenblatt issued a no-bail warrant for Nathan’s arrest.
Nathan’s electronic monitoring device was found in Loyola Park near Touhy Avenue and Sheridan Road in Chicago, Cortese said.
According to the crime bulletin, Nathan could be driving a maroon 2001 Dodge truck with the license plate number 6961PB, though he’s likely on foot or taking public transportation.
He also has been known to frequent the Sycamore Avenue area in Hanover Park.
Anyone with information should call 911 immediately.
