Barrington Goalie Makes 'Final Save' and is Selected to the All State Team

Barrington Girl's Lacrosse Board

Jenna Feldman has been the starting Varsity goalie for the Barrington Girl's High School Lacrosse team for the past three years. In 2012, Jenna finished First in the State of Illinois in the category of Goalie "Saves", with 278, and Fourth in "Save Percent" with a score of 63%. As a senior, in 2013, Jenna improved her play to finish First in State in "Saves", with 274; First in State in "Save Percent", with a score of 68.5%, and Second in State in "Interceptions" with 25.

Jenna played for her varsity coach, Suzanne Rich, at Barrington High School and at True Lacrosse Girl's Travel Team. True Lacrosse is an elite girl's travel team which played tournaments in Baltimore, Maryland. Jenna was the starting goalie for the True Lacrosse Girl's Travel Team in 2011 and 2012.

Jenna was recently honored at the Barrington High School Spring Awards Night and at the Barrington Girl's Spring Lacrosse Banquet. She was selected as the "Most Valuable Player" by her team and was named "First Team All Conference" in the Mid Suburban League. She was named to Barrington High School's "Sports Wall of Fame" and most recently selected to the Illinois "All State Girl's Lacrosse Team".

"As a Senior Captain at Barrington High School, not only was Jenna a true leader on the Varsity Team, but she was clearly a great role model for all the Barrington lacrosse players in the program. She showed an incredible amount of dedication and commitment to her team and to her coaches. Jenna came to every practice early and ready to go. She was focused and practiced hard. She is a true team player that knew that her success meant the team would be successful. As the "Most Valuable Player" for the 2013 Varsity Team, Jenna showed how hard work really pays off." Jenna will be attending the University of Iowa next year where she will be playing club lacrosse and majoring in business and Pre-Law.
