All should be part of social security

Finally there was a common sense plan to fix our pension system. The article by Louis W. Kosiba, May 22, stated that everyone should be in the Social Security system. I have heard this talked about but nothing is ever done about this.

Politicians, teachers, everyone should pay into Social Security and then have a 401(k) plan. The government could contribute to the 401(k) plus the employees could save what they want for retirement like most private employees do.

This works for the private companies and it would work for public employees.

No one is an elite or special. If everyone paid into Social Security this would save this system and would also eventually fix our public pension crises.
