Streamwood man gets probation for DUI

A Cook County judge sentenced a 50-year-old Streamwood man to probation and ordered him to pay $1,654 in fines in exchange for his guilty plea to DUI charges, court clerk records show.

Streamwood police charged Jerzy W. Bryniak with aggravated DUI after officers found him slumped over the steering wheel of a car located on the 100 block of Winchester Drive last February.

At the time, his blood-alcohol reading registered .385 percent, prosecutors said.

In addition to probation, Cook County Judge Jill Cerone Marisie sentenced Bryniak to 90 days in Cook County Jail. He has already served that time.
