PRNewswire

Medical diagnostic testing equipment and information systems technology provider Sysmex America in Lincolnshire said it has been awarded three new contracts from the national group purchasing organization Premier health care alliance in the categories of hematology (both Premier and Ascend) and urinalysis (Premier).

It is Sysmex’s sixth consecutive hematology contract with Premier, its second consecutive Ascend hematology contract and second urinalysis contract with the organization. In addition to Sysmex America’s tri-source awards in hematology and urinalysis, Sysmex is the sole source for Ascend members, and the first and only vendor to be awarded an Ascend hematology sole source contract.

Sysmex continues to exceed expectations as a contracted vendor, winning for six years the Premier Pinnacle Award for supplier quality and fifteen consecutive years on contract with Premier since 1998. The new three year agreements are effective August 1, 2013.

“We are proud of our ongoing commitment to Premier and their continued confidence in our ability to provide clinical and financial value to their alliance members,” said Bonnie Streeter, MS, MT (ASCP) SH, DLM, Senior Corporate Account Executive, Sysmex America, Inc.  “With high-quality, cost-effective care as our mutual goal, we will continue to provide outstanding performance and service to Premier as a highly valued customer.”
