Palatine family wins backyard makeover
A Palatine family has won second prize in the Dream Backyard Makeover contest sponsored by Archadeck in Rolling Meadows, Belgard Hardscapes and TimberTech. Amanda Hall and her family will receive a $7,000 backyard transformation. The contest enlisted homeowners from across the country to submit a photo and 200-word description of why their backyard is the most deserving. More than 2,000 families entered.
