First Folio unveils 2013-14 season

First Folio Theatre's four-show 2013-14 season will be bookended by outdoor shows on the grounds of the Mayslake Peabody Estate in Oak Brook.

N. Richard Nash's 1954 drama “The Rainmaker,” about a mysterious drifter who visits a drought-stricken town, runs from Wednesday, July 31, through Sunday, Sept. 1, on the outdoor stage.

Tom Stoppard's “Rough Crossing,” a comedy set aboard a 1930s ocean liner, plays from Thursday, Jan. 30, through Sunday, March 2, at the estate, 1717 W. 31st St.

Joseph Zettelmailer's recent two-person drama “Salvage” runs from Wednesday, March 26, through Sunday, April 27.

Rounding out the season is William Shakespeare's comedy “The Merry Wives of Windsor,” which plays outdoors Wednesday, July 9, through Sunday, Aug. 10, 2014.
