Work by local art students ages 10 to 18 will be on display in Waukegan Public Library's Gallery 128 starting June 1. The exhibition titled "Creative Light of Youth" consists of original artwork by students of local instructor Dr. Marco Antonio Cruz. An opening reception for the artists will be held on June 1 at 2 p.m. and is open to the public. "Creative Light of Youth" will be on display at the gallery through Aug. 2. Gallery 128 serves as a dedicated exhibit space to showcase the talents of local artists in the library. For information, call Rena Morrow at (847) 623-2041, ext. 231.
