Two MHS band concerts:

The Mundelein High School Instrumental Music Department presents two concerts, both free, and both at 7 p.m. in the MHS Auditorium. The Spring Pops Concert is Wednesday, May 15. It will feature the Honors Symphonic Winds, Symphonic Band and Concert Band performing a combination of classic wind band repertoire and lighter "pops" music with roots in Broadway and Hollywood. The event will also feature the 2013 MHS Concerto Competition runner-up, Wes Farmer, playing euphonium. Thursday, May 16 will be the Wind Ensemble Finale' Concert and awards. The concert will feature the Honors Wind Ensemble and 2013 MHS Concerto Competition winner, Brittany Sirotti, playing the flute. The concert will be followed by the 2012-13 band awards and senior recognition ceremony. The public is welcome to attend the ceremony.
