Funds restored in time for spring break

Well, the Congress has shamed itself although I am sure that they will deny it. The Senate failed to act on background checks, backed by a majority of Americans. They decided on getting that campaign money from the NRA rather than do the right thing.

Then it was the House's turn. Remember a few years ago when CBS outed Nancy Pelosi on her insider trading from what she learned in committee? Well, they closed that loophole so that what was illegal for us was now illegal for them. But, there's more: A few weeks ago they reopened that door and are free to deal on insider trading.

And even more recently, with the airports being jammed with passengers, they restored some funds to the FAA. What nice guys. Just in time for Congress's spring break. Standing around in airports is OK for us but not for them. It seems that we have elected a mob of self serving dolts.
