Cantigny Park opens summer ticket sales

Cantigny Park has opened ticket sales for several events in June and July at 1S151 Winfield Road, Wheaton. They are:

Evening symphony concerts begin at 8 p.m. in front of the First Division Museum. Tickets are $12 in advance, $18 on concert day, free for kids younger than 8; parking is complimentary. Concerts are outdoors and guests are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs. Picnic baskets are welcome.

Ÿ Elmhurst Symphony Orchestra, “From Sea to Shining Sea,” Saturday, June 22.

Ÿ West Suburban Symphony Orchestra, “Cinema Classics,” Saturday, July 13.

Ÿ DuPage Symphony Orchestra, Saturday, July 27.

A special concert by cover band Infinity begins at 8 p.m. Saturday, July 6. The band performs classics from its signature group, Journey, plus hits from Boston, Bon Jovi, Led Zeppelin, Styx, Queen, REO Speedwagon and others. Seating is on the lawn outside the First Division Museum. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door.

Shakespeare in the Park is performed amid Cantigny’s gardens. The Midsummer Theater Company performs “The Comedy of Errors” at 6 p.m. Sunday, July 21, with a rain date of Sunday, July 28. Tickets are $10 and may be purchased online at Cantigny.org, by phone at (630) 260-8162, or at the Cantigny gift shop or parking booth.
