Clockwise Theatre announces new season of works by and about Midwesterners

Clockwise Theatre, a company in Waukegan devoted to presenting works by and about Midwesterners, recently announced its three-play 2013-14 season.

On the bill is the Midwestern premiere of Wayne Mell's high-stakes real estate comedy "Carnegie Hill," which plays from Friday, Oct. 18, through Sunday, Nov. 10.

Playing from Friday, Jan. 24, through Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014, is the modern-day religious drama "Doubting Thomas" by John Green, which looks at a young born-again Christian who is torn between his faith and his sense of self.

Concluding the season is the world premiere of Rob Winn Anderson's "A Fine Line," which plays from Friday, April 18, through Sunday, May 11, 2014. Anderson's drama focuses on a certain D. Garfinkel who faces death while struggling with lifelong issues of gender and forgiveness.
