The Schaumburg Boomers baseball team will welcome Schaumburg native and 2012 Glamour Magazine Woman of the Year Erin Merryn to Boomers Stadium Friday, May 31, to raise awareness for her fight against the sexual abuse of children through Erin's Law. A victim of sexual abuse as a child, Merryn is committed to using her experiences to save others from the same fate. A portion of ticket proceeds sold through boomersbaseball.com/erinslaw will be donated to benefit her crusade to pass Erin's Law across the nation. The Boomers will play the Evansville Otters at 6:30 p.m. that day.
