Bartlett police host fishing derby

The Bartlett Police Department will host its annual free D.A.R.E. Family Fishing Derby on Saturday, May 4, between 9 and 11 a.m. at Beaver Pond, located near the intersection of Kingston Lane and Fairview Drive.

Participants 16 or older must be properly licensed. They should bring their own fishing tackle, but bait will be provided. The derby is catch and release with raffles and prizes. D.A.R.E. graduates are encouraged to wear their D.A.R.E. shirts at the event.
