Bartlett sisters mark milestone with tree planting

Residents of Clare Oaks, a continuing care retirement community in Bartlett, planted oak trees in Oak Grove Park on Friday in honor of Arbor Day. The planting also commemorated two milestones at the community: Clare Oaks recently celebrated the fifth anniversary of its opening, as well as the 50th anniversary of the presence of the Sisters of St. Joseph of the Third Order of St. Francis, founders of Clare Oaks, in Bartlett. An exhibit of the ongoing ministry of the Sisters of St. Joseph is ongoing at the Bartlett Historical Museum in village hall.
