Hit the NRA in the pocketbook
The principal of Sandy Hook Elementary showed true courage by running at the attacker, putting her own life on the line to save others. It is astounding to me that so many Republican Senators and some Democrats could not show even half that courage by voting for the brokered gun registration bill.
In defeating it they put their own careers above the interests of the vast majority of Americans, who they have sworn to represent.
The public needs to overwhelm them with letters of complaint. And all those members of the NRA who are for more gun control need to withdraw from the NRA — in droves. Hit them in the pocketbook. They will understand that.
