Teenager hospitalized after car crashes into house in Des Plaines

One person was hospitalized after a car crashed into a house in Des Plaines on Friday night, police said.

At 7:40 p.m. on Friday, the Des Plaines Fire and Police departments were dispatched to a report of a car that crashed into a house on the east side of the 800 block of Wolf Road. Upon arrival, responders found that an SUV crashed into the corner of a house, causing considerable damage, said Des Plaines Fire Chief Alan Wax on Sunday.

The person living in the home was not in that part of the house and was not injured.

Two teenagers in the vehicls were interviewed by paramedics and assessed for injuries at the scene, one was treated and transported, the other was not injured, Wax said.
