Island Lake public hearing Wednesday:

Island Lake’s plan commission will continue a public hearing about a proposed retail and residential development at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at village hall, 3720 Greenleaf Ave. The proposal focuses on land at Route 176 and River Road, in what’s now unincorporated McHenry County. The land would be annexed into Island Lake if the plan progresses.
