Swastigas

To whom it may concern. My wife and I were visiting the area for Easter ans saw something that was very disturbing and thought you would like to know about it & maybe investigate.

We were traveling N on Barrington and for a block or two there appeared to be "locate" flags running next to the sidewalk. Typically orange flags denote gas, blue for water , etc. At first I didn't pay any attention as I figured work would be done soon and you frequently see those flags. However, when we stopped for a light at Barrington & Schaumburg, I noticed that where the blue flags were stuck in the ground they were all in the middle of swatigas painted in blue on the ground! This was the East side of Barrington next to Jewel Osco and going a couple blocks South. I asked my wife to circle around for another look and found that every blue flag had a swastiga under it.

This could be an ignorant prank or perhaps a JULIE (utility locate service...call before you dig) employee or Schaumburg employee.

If it is found that an employee paid by taxpayers has done this then they should be fired!
