Wheaton candidate’s determination
Wheaton candidate’s determination
I would like to draw your readers’ attention to the April 9, election and the candidacy of Alberta Adamson for Wheaton City Council.
I have known Alberta on a professional level for more than 25 years. During that time I never ceased to be amazed at her knowledge of a particular project, her dedication and determination to find a solution to a problem and her willingness to listen and accept ideas other than her own if it was for the good of a wider audience. Alberta and her husband, Dennis, have been a part of the Wheaton community for 34 years.
While Alberta is most widely known for her leadership and dedication to (taking on) the challenge of preserving the rich historical heritage of Wheaton, she is vitally interested in all issues that directly affect our community. Some ongoing concerns include; economic development and finding new sources of revenue; solution(s) to flooding and developing a budget that reflects fairness in the allocation of funds Alberta will utilize an objective approach to all studies, discussions and decisions that will ultimately move our city forward.
If you live north of the railroad tracks in Wheaton you are allowed to vote for Alberta. You can find out more about Alberta at her website voiceforwheaton.com.
