Stop giving money to big spenders

President Obama continues to say he wants a balanced approach to the debt problem. Conveniently, he neglects to mention that the Republicans gave him a $600 billion tax increase on the wealthy in January. There were virtually no spending cuts. So where is the balance?
Now he wants more tax increases with no spending cuts. Again no balance. Last year tax revenue was the highest ever. Despite this, we still had a trillion-dollar deficit — once again proving we have spending problem, not a revenue problem. Why would we give more of our money to a government that runs a trillion-dollar deficit while getting record tax revenues.
