HOLD: Quality healthcare for the residents of Villa Park

Dear Editor:

As Village President of Villa Park, it is my priority to ensure all of our residents live in a safe and healthy environment. Committing to this priority requires that our community has ample access to quality healthcare. Therefore, it is my pleasure to welcome back much-needed dialysis care to Villa Park.

Last month, I joined community leaders, healthcare advocates, area patients and local physicians at a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a state-of-the-art U.S. Renal Care dialysis center at 200 E. North Ave. This center will help address the growing need for dialysis care in our community.

Our Village will benefit tremendously from having a dedicated dialysis facility in the area. I know from my conversations with local patients at the grand opening that convenient location, quality care and a compassionate staff are number one when choosing treatment. Those same local patients tell me this center will provide all of those things.

On behalf of the Village, I welcome this new facility to Villa Park. This isn't just a victory for local dialysis patients; it is an investment in the well-being of our community that will improve the quality of life for our residents for years to come.
