Sugar Grove, St. Charles host candidate forums Tuesday

The Sugar Grove Chamber of Commerce hosts "Meet the Candidates Night" at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Sugar Grove Community House, 141 Main St.

Individuals seeking office with the village, township, library, park district, fire protection district, Kaneland Unit School District 302 and Waubonsee Community College board of trustees have been invited.

Candidates for village president, village board and the township supervisor races also will participate in a special question and answer session. Before the event, community members can submit questions for the candidates that might be used during the session, though time for questions will be limited.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and admission is free. After the event, meet and speak with candidates. For details, visit the chamber website.

• The St. Charles Chamber of Commerce will host a municipal candidates forum at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Arcada Theatre, 105 E. Main St.

All four mayoral candidates have been invited and will answer six predetermined questions selected by the chamber's legislative committee.
