Barrington Celtic Fest to start March 15

The third annual, three-day Barrington Celtic Fest will officially begin at 4 p.m. Friday, March 15. The festival occurs at a huge heated tent on the 200 block of Park Avenue, just East of South Cook Street, and at McGonigal's Pub and its new addition, The Annex, at 105 S. Cook St. The tent will open at 4 p.m. Friday and at 11 a.m. Saturday and Sunday, March 16 and 17. McGonigal's and The Annex will open at 11 a.m. Friday and 9 a.m. both weekend days. An event fee of $10 is required for festival tent access. A portion of all proceeds will support the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life. Entertainment includes Irish dancers, bagpipers, live DJs and special guest appearances. Schedules and lineups can be found at mcgonigalspub.com.
