The Lake County Retired Teachers Association will meet at noon on Monday, March 12, at Lambs Farm at Route 176 and I-94 near Libertyville. The cost is $16 per person for the buffet luncheon and meeting. The guest speaker will be a representative from The Button Room, a museum in Gurnee, who will talk about the treasured buttons collected by Elizabeth "Peg" Hewitt. They include some fascinating and valuable designs collected during her 95 years while growing up on Old Grand Avenue. All retired educators are welcome to attend and no reservations are necessary.
