Dist. 25 candidate forum March 19

Candidates for the Arlington Heights School District 25 Board of Education will participate in a candidate forum, presented by the Arlington Heights Council of PTAs and the League of Women Voters-Arlington Heights-Mount Prospect-Buffalo Grove, from 7-8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19, on the third floor of the Arlington Heights village hall, 33 South Arlington Heights Road.

The following candidates are expected to be present: Philip Crusius, Denise Glasgow, Richard Olejniczak, David Page and Herb Ruterschmidt.

This event is free and open to the public. Audience members will be invited to submit written questions. For information, contact Shannon Silverman at (847) 392-7216.

The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan organization whose mission is to encourage informed and active participation in government; to increase understanding of major policy issues; and to influence public policy through education and advocacy.

The Arlington Heights Council of PTAs is a nonpartisan PTA uniting the nine local school PTAs, whose purposes include the development between educators and the general public in such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social, and spiritual education. Neither the League nor the Arlington Heights Council of PTAs supports any political party or particular candidate.
