Des Plaines man collapses next to snowblower, dies

A man collapsed next to a snowblower in Des Plaines Tuesday afternoon and died.

Des Plaines fire fighters responded to a call at 3:20 p.m. of an unconscious man on the ground outside his home on the 1000 block of Third Avenue

Responders attempted to resuscitate Mark Szyndrowski, 61. He was transported to Lutheran General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Szyndrowski died of natural causes, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.
