Lombard Garden Club offers scholarship to Lombard students

The 2013 Scholarship Program that is sponsored by the Lombard Garden Club is seeking applications for a scholarship recipient.
The candidates must live in Lombard and resumes need to be submitted no later thab April 1.
The selection will be made by May 1st.
The scholarship is valued at $750 and would be applicable to a student pursuing a career related to Horticulture, Ecology, Landscape Design or a related field.
The academic achievement requirement is a C or better, extracurricular participation is encouraged and financial need considered.
Please submit an application that includes grades, activities, recommendations (2) and a statement of career goals.
After receiving the scholarship, the recipient must write a statement of career goals and letter of thanks to the Lombard Garden Club.
