Barrington offers Senior Law Enforcement Academy

Cook County Sheriff Thomas J. Dart and the Barrington Police Department are inviting village residents to attend the Senior Citizen Law Enforcement Academy this spring.

Participants in the academy will learn how to protect themselves from crime, communicate with law enforcement, understand con games and scams, and the functions of the Cook County jail and courts. Classes will meet from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. every Wednesday from May 1 through June 5.
