Submitted by the village of Mount Prospect

Mount Prospect residents and business owners are invited to attend an open house Thursday to discuss the village's ongoing effort with the Regional Transportation Authority to redevelop and improve the downtown area.

The village and RTA are working with the Lakota Group to complete an assessment of downtown. The overall purpose of the plan is to determine how the downtown can continue to transform and improve in the years ahead. The study will re-evaluate the area and will result in a detailed implementation strategy used to guide the downtown's future.
