Batavia's popular monthly noontime book program, Books Between Bites, welcomes back ESPN editor Lester Munson Thursday, Feb. 21. He will discuss the books "Over Time: My Life as a Sportswriter" by Frank Deford and "Dream Team" by Jack McCallum. The monthly series is held from noon to 1 p.m. at the Batavia Public Library, 10 S. Batavia Ave.

Munson attended Notre Dame University with Deford and has often shared stories about the popular sports writer at his annual visits to the program. The full title of McCallum's book is "Dream Team: How Michael, Magic, Larry, Charles and the Greatest Team of All Time Conquered the World and Changed the Game of Basketball Forever" and is about the winning 1992 Olympic basketball team. Munson always has time to answer questions and give his thoughts on current sports issues and this program will be a real treat for sports fans.

The public is invited to attend these free programs and reservations are not required. They are held in the large community room located on the main level of the Batavia Public Library. Parking is available in the lot just south and adjacent to the library.

Attendees are invited to bring their lunch and eat as they enjoy the program and discussion. Lunch items, beverages and baked goods can be purchased at 10 South Coffee House, inside the library and adjacent to the meeting room. To pre-order for pickup just before the program, call (630) 406-8870.
