Themed "Hearts of Gold", the popular event will take place at the Lincolnshire Marriott Resort starting at 6pm. It will include dinner, music and dancing featuring the very popular band Maggie Speaks, live and silent auctions. The grand raffle will offer chances to choose your dream prize -- an America's Cup yacht sailing trip in San Francisco, a Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Package in Ottawa Canada, or a getaway in Santa Fe NM. All the prizes include airfare and luxury accommodations.

Corporate sponsors include Baxter Credit Union, Allstate, Mid American Group, The Horton Group, Sign Tech International, and Blue Cross Blue Shield.

Proceeds directly benefit the Riverside Foundation, a charitable organization serving adults with developmental disabilities. The residential facility is located in Lincolnshire IL.

Susie Lees will be receiving the Distinguished Service Award for her many years of leadership on the Riverside Foundation Board of Directors.

The Gala is being co-chaired by Peggy Gaier, Maria Warden, and Marcia Vecchione.

Gala tickets are $200 per person and must be purchased in advance. For tickets and details, contact Riverside Foundation at 847/634-3973 or purchase tickets online at
