Riverside Auxiliary hosts Gala Benefit Feb. 23

Riverside Auxiliary's “Hearts of Gold” Gala

The Riverside Foundation Auxiliary will hold its annual black-tie optional Gala Saturday, February 23rd.

Themed “Hearts of Gold”, the popular event will take place at the Lincolnshire Marriott Resort starting at 6pm. It will include dinner, music and dancing featuring the very popular band Maggie Speaks, live and silent auctions. The grand raffle will offer chances to choose your dream prize – an America's Cup yacht sailing trip in San Francisco, a Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Package in Ottawa Canada, or a getaway in Santa Fe NM. All the prizes include airfare and luxury accommodations.

Corporate sponsors include Baxter Credit Union, Allstate, Mid American Group, The Horton Group, Sign Tech International, and Blue Cross Blue Shield.

Proceeds directly benefit the Riverside Foundation, a charitable organization serving adults with developmental disabilities. The residential facility is located in Lincolnshire IL.

Susie Lees will be receiving the Distinguished Service Award for her many years of leadership on the Riverside Foundation Board of Directors.

The Gala is being co-chaired by Peggy Gaier, Maria Warden, and Marcia Vecchione.
