Roselle clinic offers free dental care

Roughly 50 people received free dental services Wednesday as part of the Dentist with a Heart campaign at 1st Family Dental in Roselle.
Dr. Sandy Murad said the campaign is designed to raise awareness of oral hygiene among people who otherwise might not be able to afford it.
Organizers said the 1st Family Dental facility in Aurora treated roughly 50 patients on Tuesday and similar crowds are expected from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, when the free services are offered at the clinic's location at 1235 N. Rand Road, Arlington Heights.
The free services are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and include X-rays, cleanings, fillings, extractions and diagnostic services.
