By "assault" weapons, 323

By law hammers, 496

By butcher knives, 650

By drunken drivers, 12,000

By abortion, 1.2 million

Jan. 22 was the 40th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision by the Supreme Court of the U.S. whereby most abortions are now legal.

Since 1973, more than 55 million innocent, unborn human babies have been murdered by this heinous act — abortion. This is America's Holocaust. This number is equal to more than one-sixth of the current U.S. population. Yet, the leftist liberals, beginning with President Obama, Gov. Pat Quinn and Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, are bent on taking away the Second Amendment rights of law-aiding citizens. Yet they are content with Roe v. Wade, just the way it is. Where is the outcry for the unborn human babies?
