Some thoughts on guns, taxes, driver’s licenses

I wonder how the NRA members would feel if someone barged to a graduation or marriage ceremony in with an assault weapon and killed their family members? I don’t understand why a private citizen needs an assault weapon.

I also wonder what the politicians do with our tax money. Real estate taxes keep coming earlier and earlier because the state needs the money. Do any of the politicians ever agree not to get a raise or give up some perks or a smaller pension?

Finally, giving driver’s licenses to illegals is really dumb. Legal citizens don’t always have car insurance because the rest of us have to pay for uninsured motorists. What makes the governor think that the illegals will pay for car insurance? (They are breaking the law already.) At one time I heard you had to prove you had insurance to get your license plates. All the years we owned a car, I never was asked about insurance.
