Women unite against abuse:

Lake County women are uniting against domestic abuse in a program set for 6:30 p.m. Feb. 14 at the Round Lake Beach Cultural and Civic Center, off Hook Drive west of Route 83. Lake County Rising is a public statement against abuse and oppression of women sponsored by Nicasa Behavioral Health Services. Motherland Rhythm Community and the College of Lake County Women's Center. The free event will feature a women's resource fair, dancing, speakers and poetry.
